What happens if I need to cancel a shift?
Life happens, and patients shift their appointments; we understand that sometimes shifts just need to be cancelled.
In the case of a shift that meets these requirements, you can simply delete the shift by -
- Finding the shift in the app
- Click on the ‘three dots’ image in the right corner
- Select ‘Remove Shift’.
Cancelling filled shifts within 72-hours of the shift start time:
- Contact HeyLucy! in writing; support@heylucy.com.au, informing of the need to cancel a filled shift.
- Reach out to the locum via the chat function in the HeyLucy! platform, letting them know that the shift has been cancelled and why.
- The HeyLucy! support team will then formally cancel the shift and email both parties letting them know of the cancellation.
NOTE: In this instance you will be subject to a cancellation review and may incur a HeyLucy! cancellation fee of $50 and be invoiced to pay the locum 50% of the locums shift fee.
A locum may also need to cancel a shift engagement by giving the Clinic not less than 72 hours’ notice of cancellation before the start of the shift. This notice to cancel must be sent in writing to HeyLucy! Support; support@heylucy.com.au. The locum must also reach out to the Clinic via the chat function in the HeyLucy! platform.
